All the programs below are free. There is cost for materials. Contact parish office at 519-743-4101 to register and order materials.
Programs for Children and Youth:
During 9:30 am Mass: Sunday school is for children ages 3-6yrs of age. Liturgy of the Word begins with children sitting with parents in the main body of the church. They are then invited down to the Large Hall during the readings and the homily. This is for children ages 7 and up. No registration is required for any of these programs.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd – The innovative approach to the religious formation of children based on Montessori principles of education. Children from ages 3 -9 years old are invited to meet regularly from September to May with experienced catechists. Together they grow in their faith and their love of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Mondays: 4 – 5:30 pm. First session in January starts on Jan 8th, 2018.
First Communion Preparation Classes: Starting on Wed. Jan. 17th (6 – 7:30 pm) and continuing until May. The First Communion Sunday will be on May 6, 2018.
Programs for Adults and Mature Teens:
A video based program led by Jeff Cavins designed to help us discover what wisdom is, learn new habits for increasing wisdom in everyday life, gain confidence through role models and practice, in living according to God’s vision. Open to couples or single people, adults or mature teens. Dates: Saturdays in 2017: Sep. 23, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and in 2018: Jan. 20, Feb. 24, Mar. 24, Apr. 28, May 26. Format: Dinner at 6 pm. Monday night Faith Enrichment
Mondays at 7:30 – 9 pm in the Large Hall. winter fall we will study two programs each one 6 weeks in duration:

Lunch and Learn
Mondays at noon in the Nursery – Starting Jan 15, 2018 at 12 pm. This winter we will start by read and discussing the book by Mike Aquilina – “The Mass of the Early Christians”. Come when you can. Bring lunch if you wish.
SPECIAL SESSION: On Mon. Jan 8th at noon we will watch a talk by Brant Pitrie on “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist” summarizing the book we read during the fall. All are welcome!
Small Christian community
It is a group of people (approx. 10-12) who meet Thursday mornings after Mass (at 9:30 am) in the Large Hall to discuss what the Word of God has to say to them about their lives and about the world. By sharing their reflections and listening to others, they are better able to see how God is at work in their lives. This is an opportunity to build community in our Parish. Participants are invited to take turns in facilitating the morning sessions, using “Celebrating the Word” as resource.
Thursday afternoon Bible Study
This January we will start with the 6 session study of True Reformers following Dr. Christopher Blum’s DVD program. Starting Jan.11th at 1 pm in the Large Hall.
